My Computer At Work (MCAW) has
been designing, recreating, and maintaining web sites since
1996. We help our clients in many industries (health
and wellness, entertainment, consumer
products, consulting,
community groups, real
estate, and others) through one-on-one
consultation to create unique sites. Each business is different,
but our goal is to give our clients control over their
web sites. In many cases we give our clients the tools
to easily and quickly update their own web sites.

Are you in control of YOUR web site?
One example of giving our clients
control is Joomla. Joomla is a content management solution
(CMS) borne out of years of development by hundreds of
programmers worldwide (free software distributed
under the GNU/GPL). Once installed, customized and set
up, this powerful software allows content to be added to
the web with minimal knowledge of HTML. The software indexes
information for easy access, editing and viewing. If
you are comfortable with Microsoft Word's editing
tools, then you will relish using Joomla to control your

Stemming for over two decades of NIH funded
research, and formulated by one of the top 1% of medical
Doctors in the Nation, the Vi-PAK boasts patented ingredients
and is exclusively distributed through the representatives
of ViSalus Sciences.
The custom graphic design made for TeamCANi creates
an interactive feel. This site also has a database-driven
calendar program (Ext Cal), video, flash animation, a forum,
training materials, a stand alone shopping cart / ecommerce
solution, and a photo gallery.

Footsense Pedorthics - Dr. Stutz has developed a diverse
practice with patients ranging in age from seven months to
ninety-three years. He estimates that approximately fifty percent
of his practice involves cases of lower extremity pain.
We created this custom web site taking from marketing
material that Dr. Stutz was already using. This site also
uses PayPal functionality for processing payment online
for patients. In particular we have consulted to develop
Dr. Stutz's plan for SEO (Search Engine Marketing / Optimization).

Denver Poker Tour - The Denver Poker Tour can be found
at over
150 bars and nightclubs around Colorado. 60-150 contestants
each night, each location, will be competing to win a qualifying
tournament in order to play in Statewide Finals late October
2006.
The Denver Poker Tour web site is run by Joomla CMS (Content
Management System). The DPT has of thousands of unique
visitors per month, and this database driven system allows
for easy editing and updating. Check out the photo galleries,
custom graphic design, immense calendar program, zip code
locator, and advertising modules. The DPT also has a 5
out of 10 Google page rank, which is a result of extensive
SEO efforts coordinated with regular sales and marketing
activities.

provides you with trained dealers,
professional tables, custom poker tour chips and awesome prizes.
Last year alone, approximately $500,000 in cash and prizes
was given away by the Tour in bars, nightclubs and hotels across
the U.S.A
The UBPT web site is a source for poker players to find
local games. We have created photo galleries, contact
forms, image maps, an integrated newsletter system, employment
applications and more. Search engine marketing has brought
this site's google page rank to 2/10.

Jackson's Sports Rock - Jackson’s was one of the first bars in Lodo
to help convert the old warehouse district into one of the premier bar districts
in the United States. As the area has developed, so has Jackson’s.
With over 29,000 square feet, and over 70 televisions this
is the premier sports bar in Denver.
Jackson's wanted a new web site, but also better service
than they were getting from their previous provider. We installed
a calendar program (Ext Cal), photo gallery and newsletter
system that Jackson's staff has direct access to. There is
no middle man to slow down updating the web site! Their search
engine marketing efforts have paid off. We have also included
Flash animations.

HomeStreet Roofing - a Denver roofing company with a

A company that provided mutual respect for it's employees
as well as for it's associates in the industry.
HomeStreet was looking to create a powerful, yet simple,
web site. We took their materials and created a new
web site that has a 2/10 Google page rank (the result of
several SEO meetings focused on coordinating sales and marketing
efforts), links to industry-specific sites, and a photo gallery
with slide show.

The creator of this fun and unique jewelry wanted an e-commerce
solution with the shopping cart that:

- did not have transactional fees,
- could be customized with her design, &
- was easy to work with.
We installed OS Commerce, which met all of her criteria.
This involved custom graphic design and PHP programming.
She uses Pay Pal to avoid high monthly charges.

hands-on digital photography seminars using the patented
Cloud Dome.
This company wanted custom web design to coordinate their
seminar business across the United States. We created a
simple and clean web site with a fully functional photo
gallery to showcase their products, a calendar system,
an integrated e-commerce solution for both the seminars
and Cloud Dome products.

PortaVise - The patented PORTAVISE® is a vise designed
to work with small and delicate objects utilizing light pressure
to hold an item tightly, while avoiding surface or pressure
damage.
The inventor of PORTAVISE® needed a site with clear
and simple instructions on how to use his product. This
project involved digital photography, custom graphic design
(including logo design), e-commerce backend using PayPal,
and writing detailed tutorials.

TastyWear Photos - candy-laced lingerie company. Photos
of models.
TastyWear's sales and marketing is based around fun. We
helped to improve Google page rank (SEO), create their reseller
page on Amazon, create a photogallery from Coppermine,
edit and improve their ecommerce system - while maintaing
their sexy image marketing.
